The UEFA Europa League Final is one of the most watched fixtures in the UEFA club football calendar, bringing together the season’s finalists in front of a global broadcast audience.

For the 2025 final in Bilbao, ON THE SLY worked with EVENT 360 to compose the original musical score for the opening ceremony.

The ceremony unfolded across four sections, building momentum inside the stadium ahead of kick-off. Dancers revealed flags and club banners as the music progressed, with each visual moment timed to key musical shifts that drove the choreography and staging toward a celebratory finale.

At the heart of the score was a high-energy EDM anthem written specifically for the stadium environment, combining crowd claps and a strong sing-along hook with a powerful drop designed to carry across a packed arena and build anticipation ahead of kick-off.

As part of the ceremony concept, a new narrative element was introduced to tell the story of how each club reached the final. ON THE SLY incorporated powerful pieces of tournament commentary into the soundtrack, bringing the journey of the finalists to life and setting the stage for the match ahead.

Following the final whistle, Tottenham Hotspur lifted the Europa League trophy, marking their first major title in 17 years.
