Celebrating 100 Years of the BBC
To mark a century of the BBC, we partnered with BBC Creative to produce a suite of audio trailers celebrating the organisation’s cultural breadth, regional reach and the people behind it.
Rather than treating these as isolated spots, the trailers were conceived as part of a wider audio campaign. Each execution needed to stand on its own while contributing to a recognisable collective voice across the network.
Featuring presenters and contributors from across the BBC, the recordings brought together familiar voices and archive moments to reflect the scale and diversity of the organisation’s output. The aim was not simply to mark an anniversary, but to reinforce the BBC’s presence in everyday life across the UK.
Working closely with BBC Creative, our role covered production, mixing and sound design, ensuring the voice content and music worked cohesively across the campaign. The result was a set of trailers that felt unified in tone while allowing each message its own character.
This project reflects our broader approach to narrative audio: supporting brand identity and cultural storytelling through carefully considered sound.
