ON THE SLY was commissioned by Sleek Events to develop the music and sound design for a large-scale themed gala in Monaco, built around a Voyage to the Moon concept and attended by over 1,400 guests.
The evening unfolded as a four-part theatrical narrative, moving from launch through space travel to a lunar landing before transitioning into a late-night DJ-led celebration.
We designed the audio architecture for the event, defining how each chapter sounded and how the story progressed across the night. Music and sound were developed to sit closely alongside choreography, circus performance and large-scale visual design, ensuring the experience felt coherent rather than episodic.
This was a live, in-room theatrical environment. The soundtrack needed to guide the audience through changing scenes, support performance on stage and create clear shifts in tone as the night evolved.
The result was a gala in which music, sound and performance worked together as a continuous theatrical experience from arrival through to afterparty.
This project forms part of ON THE SLY’s wider work delivering music and sound direction for live experiences, from theatrical gala shows and cultural events to large-scale ceremonies and broadcast spectacles.
