VIVID SYDNEY DRONE SHOW

As part of Vivid Sydney, Paramount+ launched in Australia with what was, at the time, the largest drone show ever staged in the southern hemisphere. The performance illuminated Sydney Harbour with iconic imagery from across the Paramount catalogue, spanning film and television franchises recognised around the world.

Working with SKYMAGIC Drone Shows, ON THE SLY created the musical soundtrack for the event. Building on our earlier work supporting Paramount+ launches internationally, we composed the opening sequence that carried the drones into the sky before developing a mix built around Paramount’s most recognisable film and television scores, alongside carefully selected dialogue moments.

The music was arranged to allow individual titles to be recognised while maintaining a clear through-line across the performance as the drone imagery evolved across the harbour.

Original scoring framed the opening and closing moments of the show, helping introduce Paramount+ to Australian audiences before bringing the performance to a clear and cinematic finish.

The result was a festival-scale launch moment that combined music, brand storytelling and aerial spectacle, introducing Paramount+ to Australian audiences in a way that felt cinematic and unmistakably public.
