To celebrate Lenovo’s global partnership with Formula 1, Pixel Artworks transformed London’s iconic Walkie-Talkie building into a large-scale skyline projection spectacle as part of the Race to Create campaign.
The projection mapped bespoke F1 car liveries across more than 4,000 square metres of the Fenchurch Building façade, bringing fan-designed racing visuals to life on the London skyline.
ON THE SLY created the sound design and mix for the experience, developing an audio backdrop that reflected the speed, precision and intensity associated with Formula 1. The soundtrack helped carry the visual narrative of the projection, supporting the changing imagery as the building transformed into a towering celebration of the sport.
From viewing points along the Thames, invited guests experienced the fusion of projection, architecture and sound as the London skyline became part of the activation.
This project reflects ON THE SLY’s work creating music and experiential audio for large-scale brand spectacles, projection mapping installations and live event environments around the world.
