The King’s Cup Final is one of the most prestigious fixtures in Saudi Arabia’s football calendar, contested by the leading clubs of the Saudi Pro League and staged in front of a national audience and senior members of the Kingdom’s leadership.
For the 2025 final in Jeddah, ON THE SLY worked with 555 Live Experience to create the original musical score for the halftime show.
One of the show’s key sequences portrayed a battle of footballing warriors, reflecting the intensity and competitive spirit of the final. Music played an important role in carrying the narrative across the halftime spectacle, supporting a sequence of visual moments combining projection, lasers, lighting and pyrotechnics across the stadium.
ON THE SLY composed a score designed to move between tension and release, mirroring the rhythm of competition while building anticipation for the second half of the match.
Working closely with the show’s creative and technical teams, the music supported the evolving visuals and dramatic staging of the halftime performance before culminating in the reveal of the King’s Cup trophy.
This project forms part of ON THE SLY’s work delivering music and sound direction for sporting ceremonies and large-scale opening shows around the world.
