ON THE SLY created narrative sound design for Iron Maiden’s Run For Your Lives World Tour, celebrating 50 years of one of the most iconic bands in rock.

Working alongside the creative team at Partizan, ON THE SLY was tasked with developing sound design used within the live show environment to heighten key moments of drama across the production’s large-scale visual sequences.

Iron Maiden shows are built around a powerful visual identity, with giant LED backdrops and theatrical staging drawing on the band’s mythology and characters. The sound design supported these moments, creating impacts, transitions and atmospheric elements that intensified the experience for audiences across arenas worldwide.

The work focused on enhancing the narrative flow of the show, helping build anticipation and momentum before the band launched into key songs from their catalogue.

This project forms part of ON THE SLY’s wider work creating sound design and music direction for major live experiences, from global concert tours and festivals to large-scale ceremonies and broadcast spectacles.
