At the culmination of a major sporting competition like the Heineken Champions Cup, how do you tell the story of the road to the final? With a ‘story of the competition’ montage of course!

Progress Productions were trusted by European Professional Club Rugby (ECPR) to deliver the sport presentation and ceremonies at their showcase weekend – and they turned to us to create the sound of the opening ceremony VT telling the story of the road to the final.

The brief was to drive the excitement, bring the energy, use key commentary moments and curate commercial music tracks to produce the audio for the opening ceremony VT.

Building on our work for the 150th FA Cup Final in the previous year, we crafted and mixed the soundtrack in advance of the visuals.
