Song Intros

BBC Radio 1Xtra commissioned ON THE SLY to produce a series of custom song intros as part of its station sound output.

Working closely with the BBC Popular Music station sound team, we developed intros that embed the 1Xtra identity directly into the opening of key tracks across the playlist.

Each intro was musically matched to the original track so the branding feels intentional and seamless, locking the station name into the first moments of the tracl without disrupting its energy.

This work forms part of our wider radio identity output, supporting major market stations where musical credibility and consistency matter.
